Come to Costa Rica and spend 2 weeks working with 2 reforestation organizations to help plant trees in the Rainforest.


This 14 day trip will provide the opportunity for students to learn about reforestation efforts, restoration projects and biodiversity rehabilitation efforts.

Transfer to Turrialba. Students will be taken to the Explornatura Base Camp where they will settle into their sleeping accommodations for the duration of the reforestation program.

Breakfast and Transfer to reforestation site. Morning planting session followed by box-lunch. In the afternoon students will go back to the Base Camp where they will do the canyoning tour.

Rafting! Pacuare River is one the top-rated rivers in the world for rafting. Rapids and rainforest combine to create an unforgettable experience. Stay at a jungle tent camp on the banks of the Pacuare River but don’t worry about roughing it—this is ‘luxury camping’

Puerto Viejo beach in Limon is a beautiful location in the South Atlantic of Costa Rica. Students can relax and enjoy the beach, hike Cahuita and Manzanillo-Gandoca National Parks and snorkel.

Transfer to Ecology Project International (EPI). EPI runs a program to protect the fourth largest nesting habitat for leatherback sea turtles. Students will learn about the various duties necessary to protect nests from human and environmental threats.
