We currently have 31 awesome projects from Georgia to British Columbia, all ready to begin planting in 2021!
Planting 1 million trees to reforest high priority Old Growth Management Areas (OGMAs) that burned during the 2017 Plateau wildfire. With approximately 545,151 hectares burned, this was the largest fire in B.C.'s recorded history.
Following strict reforestation standards to mimic natural regeneration, priority will be given to the re-establishment of quality habitat for iconic wildlife like moose, mule deer, black and grizzly bears, and wolves.
Planting 8 million trees over 5 years on riparian, suburban, and mine land properties across the state of Pennsylvania.
These trees will improve the bay’s water quality by stabilizing stream and river banks and filtering water flow from agricultural, urban, and abandoned mine land environments. They will also boost the economy by lowering public health costs, reducing crime, and engaging local industries like nurseries and garden centers.
Planting 750,000 trees across the Chippewa National Forest to restore degraded areas, protect critical bald eagle nesting sites, increase climate change resilience, and benefit the local Ojibwa community.
Planting will be followed up with a regime of stocking and survival surveys, animal damage control, and release, as needed, to ensure long-term success.
