Pacific Northwest Region - National Forests

  • The United States Forest Service (USFS) - an agency of the US Department of Agriculture - manages more than 150 national forests across 43 states. Now, One Tree Planted is one of their official reforestation partners, giving us the opportunity to plant more trees on more public land from coast to coast! This project will focus on new planting projects in the Northern Region of the National Forests.
  • All of our USFS projects have incredible and diverse impacts on the environment. The Pacific Northwest Region project will focus on the two National Forests in Oregon, the 'Umpqua National Forest' and the 'Malheur National Forest'. These projects are focused on watershed restoration, wildfire recovery, and wildlife habitat restoration.
A personalized tree certificate to say thanks for your donation. We’ll also send you updates on our USFS projects, so you know in which forest your trees were planted, and can track the impact your trees are having on the environment.
  • Species planted include the Ponderosa Pine, Douglas Fir, Sugar Pine, Incense Cedar, & Western White Pine. However, to maximize the impact of your donation, our partner may choose alternative species all dependent on the time of year.
