SUSTAINABILITY FOR SCHOOLS

For a future full of trees

We work with schools and teachers to help them share knowledge on the importance of trees. Our education, awareness & engagement tools aim to get students involved with reforestation.

EDUCATION

We provide educational resources that help you plan simple, fun lessons about the importance of forests. Teach students how trees affect the 6 pillars: air, water, biodiversity, economy, health, and climate.

AWARENESS

We help raise awareness of global deforestation issues through interactive classroom resources. Help students understand how the things they consume impact the environment, and how they can help make a change.

ENGAGEMENT

We get students actively involved with reforestation. Join the Schools Tree Challenge and have your students get creative with fundraising. Then run a class tree-planting day – we’ll send you everything you need!

FIVE CREATIVE FUNDRAISING IDEAS

  •  Create a calendar or photo book with your favorite photos of forests and nature trails! Offer this as a thank-you gift to donors of a certain amount.
  •  Use your talents to come up with a special offer for donors. What kind of skills can you share? A guitar lesson? Maths tutoring? A personal drawing?
  •  Host an event! Invite your friend's band to play in your lounge room or hold a documentary screening, and ask for a $5 donation for entry.
  •  Run a trivia night! Research some interesting facts about forests. (Hint: start below!) Make entry by donation.
  •  Challenge yourself! Give up something you love for a month (like sugar or meat), explain your cause and ask your friends to support you.

DID YOU KNOW...

Forests hold two-thirds of the world's plant and animal species.

Every minute, we lose 60 football fields of forests.

Half of the world's forest has already been cut down or degraded.

Out of all places in the forests, most animals species live in the canopy.
