Yes. One Tree Planted is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, so every contribution you make is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.

Simply hold onto your email donation receipt as your official record to claim your deduction.

Clean water and sanitation

Due to the links between land management and the water cycle — and the key role trees play in capturing, filtering, and retaining water — reforestation can improve water supplies by absorbing and filtering stormwater, reducing flooding and erosion, increasing moisture in the air and soil, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

To become a corporate donor, simply donate to support reforestation on the Corporate Sustainability page. Your donation will fall into one of our giving levels, granting you access to different perks and benefits.

To plant trees for every product or service sold, you must make a minimum donation of $25k and complete a Corporate Co-Venture Agreement (CCV).

Yes, One Tree Planted is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law.

Any usage of our “Proud Supporter” logo on product packaging must be reviewed and approved by One Tree Planted. Please fill out the contact form to learn more. We do not permit the usage of our Primary logo.

No, carbon offsets are not part of traditional reforestation techniques.

Tree planting events for your team are available (on request) to partners who have contributed $100k or more.

One Tree Planted strives for quality monitoring of every project. We use a combination of drones, satellite imagery, and more to ensure the survivability of each tree. Every donor will receive our annual report. Custom impact reports will be available to corporate donors who give $100k or above.

Our team has an internal process to ensure all of our donors are supported. Donors who contribute $10K or more a year will receive a designated One Tree Planted Account Manager. Your designated Account Manager will reach out to you should your giving level change.

Once you complete your donation on our Corporate Giving page, you will receive an email with all of the assets you have gained access to.

You must donate a minimum of $1,000 a year.

The ability to select where trees are planted is dependent on the giving level your business falls under. Get in touch with your designated Account Manager to learn more about how you can support our mission and contribute to your sustainability goals.

Full access to One Tree Planted's marketing assets and materials is available to partners who have contributed $25k and above. These assets are a great resource for sharing your sustainability initiatives and the impact you've made with your audience.
