Monarch High Forest Restoration in Mexico
This multi-year project restores critical areas for monarch butterfly migration and hibernation in Mexico. By planting oyamel fir trees, we provide the shelter and conditions monarchs need to survive overwinter. Local communities and volunteers participate in reforestation efforts, environmental education, and monitoring activities for long-term success.

Restoring Endangered Red Panda Habitat in the Himalayas
This project, situated in the Himalayas of eastern Nepal, is planting a mix of native species to establish a critical habitat corridor for the endangered Red Panda. An emphasis was placed on involving local, marginalized women in all community-managed restoration activities—including raising and caring for seedlings, site preparation, and post planting care.

This project aims to tackle the problem of deforestation and its devastating impacts in Malawi. Through an approach that combines reforestation best practices with addressing the root causes of deforestation—including significant challenges faced by approximately 600 rural families—the project aims to foster lasting positive change.
