We believe in complete transparency regarding how your donation dollars are utilized. We take great pride in our strong network of reforestation partners and the incredible things that we have accomplished (and will continue to accomplish) together. When reviewing costs, we work closely with our partners to determine how we can best support them within our reforestation model. Each project has a budget that covers specific primary costs but each dollar donated will typically cover: land prep and weeding, saplings nurtured in nursery, transport, planting and monitoring of trees, and impact reporting and operational costs.

There is no minimum dollar or duration commitment required to become a partner. Whether you partner with One Tree Planted for a one-off campaign or for a lifetime, you’ll be given equal access to our portfolio of projects, partner assets and support.

We provide marketing materials which include, social media templates and captions, press release templates, photos, and videos, samples of content, logos, brand guide, and print materials. As a partner, you’ll also be encouraged to reach out to and work closely with our Marketing team to craft appropriate communications and sign off on any co-branded assets.

Yes. One Tree Planted is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
